Four Mississippi Cowboys just wanting to make enough of a living to buy their own spread find themselves unemployed. They find out the hard way that rounding up badmen is a money making option. They set out for Texas with the goal of making enough money to purchase a ranch and start a cattle herd. Their new found professions turns out to be a lot more than they bargained for after ultimately running into a situation that proved to change their lives forever. These former Confederate guerrilla fighters turned cowboy, turned bounty hunters, stepped into a world they were trying hard to avoid.
