"I'm not exaggerating when I say the writing club at C4BC changed my life. I'm a writers and an artist that has only recently started taking my calling seriously. I felt very rusty, timid, and alone. But then I found the Writers Club. Melanie Hooks is such a jewel. She's full of love, grace, joy, life, and she is so interesting and funny. I could talk to her all day and never get tired. She makes the atmosphere so fun, welcoming, and safe. People of all kinds feel more creative in her presence and empowerd to share. Attending rekindled my belief that i can be a writer and I look forward to each meeting immensely! I never want it to end. It's low pressure and relaxed. It's way more exciting than binging another show. You hear all kinds of stories from people like you in the community. I tell people to come even if they're not a writer, it is that good.
