Our bookstore is excited to announce the formation of a brand new writing club designed to foster creativity, offer constructive feedback, and build a supportive community for writers of all levels. Join us on the first Saturday of the month at 9am!

Unleash your inner storyteller! The Crazy Four Books & Coffee Writers Club is a welcoming space for writers of all genres and experience levels to connect, share their work, and hone their craft. Whether you're working on a novel, short story, poem, or just starting out, you'll find support and encouragement here. We'll have prompts, discussions, and opportunities for feedback. Leader:

C4BC welcomes Melanie Hooks, longtime writing instructor and workshop leader, who relocated from her screenwriting life in Pasadena, California, to her family’s hometown of Crockett in 2023. She has an established audiobook narration career and is excited to meet other local writers, experienced and aspiring alike. She’s currently penning a non-fiction book on classic film and brainstorming her first novel.
